I describe my photographic style as lifestyle/documentary and my editing style as cinematic and warm. When I look back on my old family photos my favorites will always be what I call “in between moments.” Photos of a family member reading a book to me, photos of my parents laughing, or of my little brother running through a field at full speed. Posed photos are great and I capture those as well, but there’s just something about a photo where people are in the moment and focused on each other instead of me. I like to fade into the background as much as possible. This allows me to capture real life as it happens. 

 

As a business owner I consider myself to be patient and detail oriented. I work really hard to make sure that clients are fully informed about how a session will go in order to get the most out of their time. Weddings, Maternity and baby sessions are my bread and butter. I love being a small part in life changing moments. These times in our lives can be hectic. Planning a wedding and getting ready for a baby can become stressful. That’s why I create timelines with wedding couples. That’s why I help maternity clients find the perfect dress, and give suggestions on what the rest of the family could wear to coordinate with you! I believe in transparency, which is why my full pricing list will always be available on my website to view. If you are willing to research my work, I want you to be able to see what is necessary to invest. Timeless photographs are an investment. You, your children and generations to come will look back on these images fondly. 

 

Maybe most importantly, I believe in the fact that Love is Love! A couple is two people who love each other and commit themselves to working on a relationship with that other person. And a family is a couple in love who have chosen to extend their love to some cute kids. I welcome all couples and all familes!
